At OzIntro the crew are young and lots of fun. We have plenty of travel experience, will give you a locals insight to Sydney, and can relate to what you're into.

Michael was born and grew up in Sydney and can't wait to show you the best bits.

He has plenty of experience in the backpacker industry and has a great understanding of what young travellers need.

Previously, he managed a large beach-side hostel in Sydney and has also managed Sydney's largest backpacker travel & service centre.

Michael has travelled extensively throughout Australia, Asia, South America and Europe. He also went to Butlins when he was little.

Michael spends most of his time at OzIntro HQ in Sydney, and will be there to help you find a job, buy a car, find somewhere to live, or meet that special someone. He’ll also give you lots of great tips for travelling around Australia.

Likes: Swimming in the ocean at night. Nachos with sweet chili sauce. Seeing someone fall over.

Dislikes: Alarm clocks. When his hair goes fluffy after he's been swimming. Untangling Christmas tree lights.

Age: 30

Lucy lives in England and loves going down under!

She has made the journey several times and has lived in Sydney for two years.

Whilst in Australia she managed a large backpackers hostel and has also worked for one of the UK's largest independent travel networks.

Lucy is passionate about travel and can't wait to help get you started. As well as Australia she's travelled through Asia, Indonesia, South America and New Zealand.

Lucy will be there to help you before you go. She'll be your booking agent, travel consultant, advisor, supporter and motivator. And she’ll be there to answer all your questions.

Likes: The finer things in life. Like wine, olives, salsa dancing, and watching Peter Kay DVD's in her pyjamas whilst eating Haribo.

Dislikes: Grumpy bus drivers. Loud eaters. Routine.

Age: 27

Dan has lived in various exotic locations such as Barcelona, New York and Middlesborough.

He’s now back living in Sydney and loves it.

A man of many talents, Dan is an excellent tennis player, a great dancer and is really good at assembling furniture. He also speaks six languages - but only when he’s drunk.

Dan will be your host, tour guide, bus driver, barbeque chef, inspirational leader, spiritual healer, and frisbee partner for the week.

He knows where all the best pubs and clubs are and will be happy to show you. And if you buy him a drink he might even show you some of his signature dance moves!

Likes: Buying cheap tacky sunglasses. Wearing wife-beater vests (even when it’s cold.) Pulling out 360’s on the dance floor. 

Dislikes: Breaking his cheap tacky sunglasses. Being told by strangers that he can’t dance. The saying “no brainer”.

Age: 24

Rob is the newest recruit to OzIntro in Australia.

He considered himself to be suitable for the job because he can parallel park a bus, cook a mean barbeque and tell bad jokes. And we agreed.

Although born in England, Rob loves to surf and play Aussie Rules. And he hopes one day to play for the mighty Melbourne Tigers. But for now is happy playing for the crappy Coogee Seagulls.

Rob will be your host, tour guide, bus driver and drinking buddy for the week.

Likes: Watching people learning to surf. Ice cold Australian beer. Short shorts.

Dislikes: Being on the same dance floor as Dan. Warm beer. Zoo keepers.

Age: 23

Elisa is based in our UK office. (Which has an amazing view of a picture of Sydney Harbour!)

She has travelled to Australia twice and loved it. And she’s keen to help you to have a great time too.

Elisa will be there to answer all your emails and phone calls, take your booking, and to help you with anything you need for your trip to Australia.

Likes: Walking in Ugg boots. Reading trashy magazines. Yoga.

Dislikes: Running in Ugg boots. Cold crappy weather. Burberry.
